Four 18-inch subwoofers looked dramatic, but the build also needs net volume, port area, bracing, cone clearance, a technical chamber, cooling, structure and acceptable axle loading. Four 15-inch NS v.6 drivers remain extreme while giving the engineer a more credible package to work with.
What it changes
This decision is part of the active concept but does not replace measured engineering. After the vehicle is purchased, physical scan data, component geometry, axle loading and builder calculations take priority over the concept.
