The audio
Four 15-inch Nightshade drivers, a whole-bed enclosure and a forward port form the project’s acoustic centre. Everything below is a planning baseline until measured engineering begins.
Four means four.
No duplicated render panels, no cabin subwoofers and no row of four drivers.
Source to pressure.
What is known now.
Sundown currently lists the NS v.6 15-inch at 3,500 W RMS with dual 1-ohm or dual 2-ohm voice-coil options. Those are product facts, not permission to design the truck merely by adding catalogue ratings together.
The current project plan uses a starting enclosure baseline of approximately 4.0 ft³ net and 60 in² of port area per driver at around 32 Hz. The four-driver planning total is approximately 16.0 ft³ / 453 litres net and 240 in² / 1,548 cm² of port area. These numbers must be checked against the latest manufacturer technical data and then replaced by the builder’s model.
Manufacturer baseline only. Final volume, port geometry, tuning, impedance, power, cooling and system mass require measured CAD and acoustic modelling.
Power is not one setting.
| Preset | Purpose | Behaviour |
|---|---|---|
| DAILY | Road use | Restricted bass, conservative limits and normal charging recovery. |
| DOG | Rear-seat comfort | Very low sub level and reduced rear support. |
| SQ | Balanced listening | Front-stage imaging and integrated low-frequency response. |
| DEMO | Static event use | Pre-run cooling, timed sessions and active monitoring. |
| LINKED SHOW | Multi-vehicle source | External isolated feed, local delay and master/local mute. |
