BLACKOUT
2021 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross
Not a pickupwith a soundsystem.
A purpose-built acoustic vehicle disguised as a factory truck.
The public website shares the design intent. Measurements, structure, electrical capacity and final enclosure geometry remain subject to vehicle scan and professional engineering.
Everything powerful is hidden.
The exterior is restrained: gloss black, complete dechrome, fixed canopy, low stance and no visible audio hardware.
The canopy does not open.
It is a permanent, weatherproof and sound-treated structure designed around the acoustic chamber beneath it.
The canopy supports the system but is not assumed to be the enclosure’s only structural wall. Internal ribs, damping, decoupling, acoustic trim, seals and drainage require builder validation.
Four.
Fifteen.
Up.
Exactly four Sundown Audio Nightshade NS v.6 15-inch drivers in a true 2 × 2, up-firing arrangement.
The manufacturer baseline is not the finished enclosure design. Gross volume, net volume, port length, displacement, bracing and load distribution must be modelled after scan.
The bass feeds the cabin.
A large forward slot port terminates through a flexible, sealed and reinforced cab-to-bed interface.
The cab and bed move independently on the chassis. The pass-through must accommodate that movement without air leaks, water ingress, exposed metal or interference with belts and head restraints.
Inspect the interfaceNothing on display. Everything serviceable.
Amplification, lithium, DSP, distribution, protection and cooling sit in an isolated technical chamber beneath or around the main acoustic structure.
One system. Six behaviours.
Alpine Halo 11, an approved interface, HELIX DSP ULTRA S and separate amplification create daily, sound-quality, demo and linked-show personalities.
Pressure belongs in the system.
Cab, doors, rear wall, bed, canopy and hatch receive zone-specific treatment to reduce resonance, noise and unwanted energy loss.
CLD, closed-cell foam, decoupling, barriers and acoustic trim are selected by location. Drainage, airbags, mechanisms and service access remain protected.
One source.
Seven systems.
Hardwired.
A professional master source and central distribution hub feed isolated, locking cable connections to independently powered vehicles.
Every truck retains its own DSP, amplifiers, protection, emergency mute, fallback source and delay calibration. Linked operation is stationary show use only.

BLACKOUT
begins here.
The idea is public. The next real milestone is the right 2021 D-Max, followed by physical measurement, scan and engineering.
