The 2021 D-Max V-Cross offers a five-seat double-cab layout and a separate load bed on a body-on-frame platform. That creates opportunity and constraint: the bed can host a dedicated acoustic system, while any pass-through must respect movement between the cab and bed.
What it changes
This decision is part of the active concept but does not replace measured engineering. After the vehicle is purchased, physical scan data, component geometry, axle loading and builder calculations take priority over the concept.
